Asked Questions
During a power outage, Volcano Communications Group’s network equipment is supported by backup power systems to help maintain service for a limited time. However, if your home does not have its own backup power source (like a generator or battery backup), your internet, phone, and TV services may be interrupted until power is restored. For continued phone service during outages, we recommend using a corded landline phone connected to a battery-backed modem.
Most outages are resolved within a few hours, but restoration times can vary depending on the cause and severity. Our technicians work as quickly and safely as possible to restore service. For updates, please check the outage map or follow our official communication channels.
To report an outage in your area, please call our 24-hour support line at 1.209.296.7501.
Service outages can be caused by a variety of factors, including severe weather, damaged cables, power outages, or maintenance work. In some cases, unexpected technical failures or third-party issues may also disrupt service. Our team works quickly to identify and resolve the cause of any outage.
