Volcano Email Setup Guide: POP3 and IMAP Settings with Port Numbers

Setting Up Your Volcano Email on a New Device?

If you’re switching devices or want to check your Volcano email on something like your iPhone, iPad, or Microsoft Outlook, you’ll need to choose between POP3 or IMAP during setup. In most cases, simply entering your full email address and password is enough—your device will automatically fill in the rest. Manually entering server settings and port numbers is only needed in the rare case that automatic setup doesn’t work. Here’s what POP3 and IMAP mean—and which port numbers to use if you need them.

POP3 (Post Office Protocol)

POP3 downloads your emails to one device and removes it from the server. Best if you only check email in one place.

  • 143 – Secure (recommended)

  • 587 – For mobile devices
